Be Somebody Else

 

Do you set forth to do good

and help those around you?

Or do you say let

"Somebody Else" do it?

Sometimes, "Somebody Else"

never comes along.

Sometimes you are

"Somebody Else".

 

Matthew 5:16

Let your light so shine

before men, that they

may see your good works,

and glorify your father

which is in Heaven.

Jealousy

Jealousy

 

The word Covet means

to desire wrongfully, inordinately,

or without due regard for the rights

of others. Jealousy of another's

possessions is how  I would say it.

Jealousy is a bitter thing to harbor.

Let it go, You are only hurting yourself.

You will feel better after you

learn to let it go forever.

 

James 3:18

For where envying and strife is,

there is confusion and every evil work.

Find Your Passion

 

When you choose to be a part of something,

Find something bigger than yourself.

Find something with meaning, and purpose.

And learn all you can about it, become an expert.

Give it your all. Make it something you can have

a passion for, and fall in love with it.

Why would you half way do anything anyway?

 

John 8:47

He that is of God heareth God's words;

Ye therefore hear them not,

because ye are not of God.

Whenever you do things for others,

Do them from the heart.

Do not do them out of obligation.

People can tell if you really mean it or not.

Do your good deeds, with sincerity, and

make them a "Work of Heart"

Make Your Words Have Meaning

Make Your Words Have Meaning

 

Have you ever met one of those people

who can talk all day and never really

say anything?They are very entertaining

and fun to be around. But they never

gain any ground. Idle chatter is OK

once in a while, but don't make it a way

of life. Make your words have meaning.

 

 Acts 4:20

For we can not speak

the things which we

have seen and heard

How Firmly Do You Stand?

How Firmly Do You Stand?

 

When you believe in something, anything,

stand firmly on that. Do not waffle

back and forth and be "wishy-washy".

 If you do not believe in something

strongly enough to make a stand,

don't get involved in it. 

Find something you do believe in.

"You've got to stand for something,

or you'll fall for anything."

 

Psalm 31:6

And in my prosperity I said,

I shall not be moved.
