Are You A Peacemaker?

When things around you are falling apart,

And someone needs to take charge and

"Hold it all together", Are you

one who steps up and becomes a peacemaker?

OR are you one of the instigators?

Sometimes we think we are one

when we are actually the other.

Consider where you stand.

 

Matthew 5:9

Blessed are the peacemakers

for they shall be called

the children of God.

Are you a light?

Are you a light?

How brightly does your light burn?

Ask yourself these questions

 every morning this week.

What is my light?

Do I share my light or do I hide it?

what can I do to let my light shine more?

After you answer them every day for a week

I think you will see a difference in your life

and those around you.

 

Matthew 5:14

Ye are the light of the world,

A city that is on a hill

can not be hidden.

Choose your own path

Choose your own path,

And choose one of light

Don't let others

choose it for you.

For they may not be

able to see your light.

Choose the Path that

Best suits you,

and not the others

you may be trying to please.

They do not have to

live your life.

BUT YOU DO!

 

John 12:35

Yet a little while is the light with you.

Walk while ye  have the light,

lest darkness come upon you:

For the that walketh in darkness

knoweth not whither he goeth.

Whatever you choose to do today WILL come back to you in the future. Be it good or evil, it will come back.

Let your Light Shine

Do you often hide your capabilities

to avoid having to do things?

Do you not want others to know

all the things you are capable of doing? 

Sometimes it helps us, to help others.

Sometimes it helps us more than it does them.

Matthew 5:16

Neither do men light a candle,

and put it under a bushel,

but on a candlestick;

and it giveth  light unto

all that are in the house

The Voice of a Stranger

 

Follow someone you know

Or know a lot about and

Choose whom you follow

carefully, for we are often

found "guilty by association"

 

John 10:15

And a stranger will they not

Follow but will flee from him:

for they know not the voice of a stranger.

Do you have trouble admitting

Do you have trouble admitting

when you are wrong?

 

It is a difficult thing to do

but it gets easier with practice.

Work on saying,

"It is my fault, I was wrong,

and  I am sorry."

People appreciate honesty.

And you will earn their respect.

They already know  anyway.

 

Psalm 51:3

For I acknowledge my

transgressions: and my

sin is ever before me
