99 & 1

This is the season, it seems,

when we all want to help

others who are less fortunate

than ourselves. I wonder

though, just how much

more help we could be

to others, if we did things

that are not centered on

financial assistance. Of

course it is good to give

when you can. What I am

talking about is being there

for someone who has no one,

but just wants someone to listen.

Or someone who needs a ride

to the pharmacy, Dr, or Grocery.

Maybe a child who just needs to

feel important or at least cared about.

An elderly person who would enjoy

a cup of tea and conversation.

We all need each other.

Let's try to be there more!

 

Luke 15:4

What man of you,

having an hundred sheep,

if he looses one of them,

doth not leave the ninety

and nine in the

wilderness and go after

that which is lost.
